The charm has worn off. I'm tired of seeing some of the same sights. The job itself has become work and I've become a regular employee and my job has become well regular. Aside from that I'm fine and surviving in Beijing.
The problem is that most think American food is McDonald's and KFC. If Sweet Martha made cookies here in China she would fine a huge market. There is potential.
Being a Beijinger means going to bed at about 10:00 pm or 11:00 pm and getting up around 6 am. There is a leisure among the old who have money in the bank and a restlessness among the 20-30 year olds who are trying to take apartments, cars and girls off the market. It is an interesting observation for any Sociologist.
I'm enjoying some of what I've seen, but too much is too much. I enjoy the letters from home. Keep them coming.
but what if i don't know how?!?
